Syvilla M. Bolson, age 83, of Decorah, IA, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at her home in Decorah. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Decorah Lutheran Church in Decorah with Rev. Bryan Robertson officiating. Burial will be Tuesday afternoon, October 4, at 4:00 P.M. in the Beaver Creek Lutheran Cemetery in rural Joice, IA. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Monday, October 3 at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and on Tuesday one hour before the service at the church. Syvilla is survived by her husband Marlin Bolson of Decorah; her three children: Priscilla Carraway, Loren Bolson and Lynn Bolson; her three brothers: Maynard (Violet) Tweed of Ames, Iowa, Gerald (Shirley) Tweed of Renton, Washington, and Kerry (Ramona) Tweed of Estacada, Oregon.
