Sylvia Hovey Folsom, 86, of Thornton, CO, formerly of Decorah, died after a long illness, Saturday, January 8, 2011. Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the First Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall by Rev. Marion Pruitt-Jefferson She is survived by her sons Gil Folsom of Golden CO, Scott (Joan) Folsom of Arvada CO; one daughter Jill Folsom of Thornton CO; two granddaughters Rebecca and Rachel Folsom of Arvada CO; one brother Theodore Hovey of Decorah and several nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband George Folsom, and three brothers, Clarence, Ingolf and Walter Hovey.
