Steven Craig "Grunt" Juve, an outdoorsman and businessman, died unexpectedly on July 31, 2023, at the age of 48 in his home in Green Isle, MN. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street, Decorah, IA with Rev. Peter Kowitz presiding. There will be a private burial at a later date at Big Canoe Cemetery. Born April 17, 1975, in Decorah, Iowa, Steven attended Decorah High School. He attended North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) and later went on to receive his Bachelor of Mortuary Science degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, working as a Funeral Director for four years. Switching careers, he started out as an entry level collector and would later become the President and CEO of a midwest collection agency. Steven enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and the outdoors. He excelled at hunting, fishing, camping, boating/jet skiing and grilling. He was an avid traveler, fitness enthusiast and took a hands-on approach to life. He is survived by his three children, Jade, Ethan and Colt, former wife Jackie Juve, as well his parents Richard and Darlene, sister Dena (Bret) Larsen, nephews Dylan and Drew and fiancée Betsaida Malaske.
