Sister Antonia Bina N.D., age 98 of Omaha, NE formerly of Spillville died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Omaha, NE Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., Friday at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville with a prayer service at 7:00. There will also be visitation after 9:00 Saturday morning at church. Sister Antonia Bina, de N.D. was born Victoria Bina to Wenceslaus and Rose Ann (Soukup) Bina on November 19, 1918 near Spillville, IA. She attended St. Wenceslaus grade school in Spillville. she and her sister, Otilia, Sister Raphael entered the Convent together on August 12, 1938. They took their Profession of First Vows was August 13, 1943. Sister Antonia served as a homemaker in the following parishes: St. Wenceslaus School, Dodge NE; St. John’s School, Prague, NE; Assumption School, Dwight, NE; St. Ludmilla’s School, Cedar Rapids, IA; St. Joseph’s School, Chelsea, IA; Our Lady Lourdes Indian Mission, Porcupine, SD; the Notre Dame Motherhouse, Omaha, NE. Sister is survived by the Notre Dame Sisters and many nieces, nephews and friends Sister was preceded in death by parents Wenceslaus and Rose Ann (Soukup) Bina; brothers James, Charles, Tony, Jerome and George; sisters: Rose, Anna Mixdorf, Agnes Robertson, Sr. Raphael Bina, ND.
