Sheila Sexton

Sheila D. Sexton, age 67, died unexpectedly Monday May 8th, 2023, at her home in rural Decorah, Iowa. There will be no formal services. In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be sent to Plymouth Rock/St. Agnes Cemetery - 37699 State Line Rd. Mabel MN, 55954 Sheila Diane Sexton was born May 30, 1955, the daughter of Parnell & Betty (Kohlila) Sexton in Cresco, IA. She attended North Winneshiek School and after graduation, she attended Area One in Calmer for two years for an administrative Clerical Degree. Following graduation, she started work for Prudential Life Insurance Company in Rochester, MN and retired 20 years later and moved back to the Decorah area to help with the farming. Sheila was devoted to the family farm, and especially her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading, watching movies, solving word search puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her siblings: Steve (Ellen) Sexton Decorah IA; Sam Sexton, Decorah IA & Stella (Dave) Mathieu, Lakeville MN. Nieces & Nephews: Shane Sexton, Decorah IA, Steven Sexton, Decorah IA, Stacia Sexton, Decorah Iowa; Sean Mathieu, Lakeville MN, Sarah (Jeff) Kormanik, Gilbert AZ & Megan Hageman, West Union IA Sheila was proceeded in death by Her Parents: Parnell & Betty (Koliha) Sexton, and brother Scott Sexton.
