Ronald “Ron” Anderson, age 67, of Decorah, IA, died suddenly on June 26, 2014, at the Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, IA. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 30, 2014, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah, IA, with Rev. Phil Olson presiding. Burial will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery, Castalia, IA. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m., on Monday morning at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah. Ron is survived by his wife: Jeanette Anderson, Decorah, IA. Two children: Jaima Anderson, Milwaukee, WI, and Daniel Anderson, Marquette, IA. Two grandchildren: Jacqueline and Keith Anderson. His mother: Rosemarie Anderson, Decorah, IA. Two brothers: Robert “Bob” Anderson and Rick (Barb) Anderson, Decorah, IA. His aunt: Marlyce Murdoch, Marion, IA. Two sisters-in-law: Josie Andrew, Cedar Rapids, IA; and Barb Sharp, Geneva, IL, along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Ron was preceded in death by his father: Leon “Andy” Anderson on Feb. 7, 1992. His father and mother-in-law: Everett and Roberta Andrew. Brother-in-law: Steve Andrew. Uncle: George Murdoch. Close friend: Arnie Fortman.
