Roland Lillegraven

Roland G. Lillegraven, age 100, of Decorah, IA, died Monday morning, February 26, 2018 at Aase Haugen Senior Services in Decorah.    Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2018 at Madison Lutheran Church in rural Ridgeway, IA, with Rev. Jeff Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Phelps Cemetery in Decorah, in the spring, with Full Military Honors.    Visitation will begin on Friday at 12:00 p.m., one hour before the service, at Madison Lutheran Church. Roland is survived by one son, John (Wanda) Lillegraven of Decorah; four grandchildren: Paul (Nicki) Lillegraven of Decorah, Brian (Kim) Williams of Des Moines, Iowa, John (Stacy) Williams and Ashley (Jon) Klingaman of Ankeny, Iowa; eight great-grandchildren: McKinley and Andy Lillegraven, Emily, Cameron and Breanna Williams, Nathan and Natalie Williams, and Hattie Klingaman; one sister, Dolores Gerber of Cresco, Iowa; Kim Williams children: Emma, Tate and Owen; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Hattie on January 21, 2008; his parents, Lewis and Elizabeth Lillegraven; his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dave Williams; two brothers, Maynard and Wendal Lillegraven; and one sister, Phyllis Smith.
