Roger C. Peck

Roger Peck, age 74, of Decorah, Iowa, died on Sunday, January 20, 2008, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN, following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah, Iowa. Friends may call after 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home on Friday morning. Burial will be in the Frankville Community Cemetery, Frankville, Iowa. Roger Charles Peck was born on January 14, 1934, the son of Walter and Helen (Lewis) Peck. Roger was baptized and confirmed at the Ossian Lutheran Church. Roger graduated from Ossian Public High School in 1953. He worked for Wapsie Produce for over twenty years. Roger loved watching all sports on TV, especially football. He also enjoyed watching parades and going fishing. Roger’s survivors include his sister: Shirley Hageman, Decorah, IA, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father and two brothers: Robert Peck in 1985 and Raymond Peck in 2006; and one sister-in-law: Esther Peck in 2007.
