Roger Numedahl

Roger Numedahl, age 76, of Rochester, MN, formerly of Calmar, IA, died on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Weather Stone House in Rochester, MN.A private family service will be held at a later date with full military rites.  Roger John Numedahl was born on December 15, 1941 the son of Lester and Laura (Huber) Numedahl in Decorah, IA. He attended St. Aloysius Catholic School through the 8th grade and graduated from Calmar High School in 1959. He attended Dunwoody College of Technology in Minneapolis, MN and then went to work for Trane Company in LaCrosse, WI. Roger enlisted in the United States Army in 1963 and served in Germany until 1966. Roger worked for the US Postal service carrying mail in Cedar Rapids, IA and Rochester, MN until retiring in 1997. After retirement, Roger lived in Decorah for a few years before returning to Rochester where he lived until his passing. Roger is survived by his sisters: Susan (Dick) Leibold, Ossian, IA and Sandra Numedahl, Lakeland, CO. Brother: Dick (Lela) Numedahl, Decorah, IA. Sister-in-law: Patti (Frank) Graves, Decorah, IA along with many nieces and nephews.Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Lester and Laura (Huber) Numedahl. Brothers: Lester in infancy and James Numedahl in 1998.
