Rita Shindelar

     Rita Shindelar, age 90, of Decorah, IA, died on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at the Good Samaritan Society in West Union, IA.      Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 6, 2016, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 207 Church Street, Spillville, IA, with Rev. Dan Knipper presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.      Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 p.m., on Friday at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Avenue, Decorah, IA, and also after 10:00 a.m., on Saturday at the Church.      There will be a prayer service at 3:00 p.m., and a rosary at 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home on Friday.      Rita is survived by her two children: Darlene Poshusta, Fort Atkinson, IA; and Steve Shindelar, Ridgeway, IA.      Other information is pending at this time.
