Rita Lennon

     Rita Lennon, age 91, of Calmar, IA, died on Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Ossian Senior Hospice in Ossian, IA.      A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, French Chapel, 202 South Washington Street, Calmar, IA.      Friends may call after 9:00 a.m., at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, French Chapel, 202 South Washington Street, Calmar, IA.      Rita is survived by her three children: Steve (Darla) Lennon, Decorah, IA; Stan (Linda) Lennon, Fort Atkinson, IA; and Deb Henry, Calmar, IA. Eight grandchildren: Tim Lennon, Decorah, IA; Nicole (Chris) Fisher, Atkins, IA; Darin (Tracy) Lennon, Fairfax, IA; Travis (Jess) Lennon, Spillville, IA; Jackie (Wes) Hageman, Spillville, IA; Jake (Brandi) Lennon, Calmar, IA; Emma Lennon, Maquoketa, IA; and Allison Lennon, Maquoketa, IA. Ten great grandchildren: Avery Fisher, Tanner & Piper Lennon, Blain, Josie & Levi Lennon, Daynon & Rylee Lennon, Easton and Laney Hageman.      Rita was preceded in death by her parents: James and Emma (Vsetecka) Staska. Her husband: Alden Lennon on July 18,1990. Her son: James Lennon on October 13, 2005. One brother in infancy: Cletus Staska. Her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Herschel and Amanda Lennon.
