Richard Phillips, age 92, of Fort Atkinson, IA, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018, at Wellington Place in Decorah, IA.Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville with Father Aaron Junge presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.Visitation will be after 9:30 a.m., at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville on Saturday morning. The Schluter Balik Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Richard is survived by his daughters: Catherine (Steven) Brandt, Redwood Falls, MN; Darlene (Loren) Straube, Spillville, IA. Sons: Thomas Phillips, Cresco, IA; Richard (Rose) Phillips, Jackson Junction, IA; Vincent Phillips, Cresco, IA and Lawrence (Christy) Phillips, Dunkerton, IA. Grandchildren: David (Jessica) Phillips, Eric (Alena Bock) Phillips, Maria (Stephen) Kingsbury, Christina (Stewart) Otting, Tom Straube, Kurt (Kari) Straube, Matt (Abby) Straube, Cathy (Jeff Kimber) Straube and Amanda Phillips. Great grandchildren: Nicholas, Brinlee and Alexis Phillips, June Kingsbury, Graham Otting, Connor and Carson Straube, Gracelyn and Griffin Straube, Kiah and Gavin Kimber.
