Patrick Timothy Nelson was born September 24th, 1957 in River Falls, Wisconsin to Norman and Grace Nelson (Richert). He was Baptized and Confirmed. Patrick grew up on a small farm in River Falls, Wisconsin. There he worked as a young farmer helping his dad take care of all the farm animals. He raised registered Guernsey cattle as well. With love and pride, he showed his cattle at the county and state fairs, where he would usually take Grand Champion. Patrick graduated from River Falls High School in 1976 He was a local celebrity when he was 19. He would dress from head to toe in a homemade pink pig outfit and would visit all of the local bars in all of the surrounding small towns. Nobody knew who he was, but everyone loved him. Patrick was a member of the Shriners and also loved dressing up as a clown when he could. Patrick met the love of his life Kathy Meyers of Blar, Wisconsin and they married on June 22nd, 1991, in Baldwin, Wisconsin at Peace Lutheran Church. They were blessed a year later with a daughter, Michelle, and a few years later with a son, Jeremy. Patrick and Kathy went on a drive one day and fell in love with a house out in the country by Waterville, Iowa in 1997, they bought the house and moved from Wisconsin to Iowa. His most significant accomplishments were teaching his children how to raise farm animals. Along with a few Guernsey steers as well. He enjoyed teaching his children how to run the family business and chauffeur people around all over the world. Patrick started the family business, Black Coyote Lines transportation service in 2004 until 2016, when he started having heart complications, the business came to an end. Patrick had a love for driving and even though he lived in Iowa, he spent a large part of his time in Wisconsin, helping his friends, driving them places, and helping them with their equipment. Patrick was a hardworking man. He always loved giving a hand to help anyway he could and to anyone who was willing to strike up a conversation with him and he would talk to them for a very long time if he had the time to. He is survived and will be truly missed by his wife Kathy: his children: Michelle Nelson of West Union, Iowa, and Jeremy Nelson of Luana, Iowa; his grandchildren: Kinsley Nelson, Liam Nelson, Wesley Nelson, Caden Kline, Bentley Kline, Caydence Larson, Avery Larson, Aiden Larson, Hendrix Larson and Gibson Dundee.
