Omar Flores

  Omar Flores, age 32, of Calmar, IA, died on Sunday, September 4, 2016, from injuries he received in an automobile accident near Spillville, IA.       Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 10, 2016, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with Rev. Phillip Gibbs presiding. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery, Calmar, IA.     Friends may call after 9:30 a.m., at the church on Saturday morning. The Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Calmar is in charge of arrangements.      Omar Flores was born on November 29, 1983, in Guerrero, Mexico. He graduated from High School in Guerrero, Mexico. He came to the United States and worked in North Carolina for five years. He moved to Iowa and worked for Einck Dairy near Festina from 2009-2016, and then recently for Fettkether Construction, from Arlington, IA. Omar was married to Rocio Navatorres in 2012 in Decorah. He enjoyed fishing, doing mechanic work and spending time with his family, especially his children. Omar was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.      Omar is survived by his wife: Rocio Flores, Calmar, IA. Three children: Omar, Diego and Ashley Flores, along with twins due in October. His mother: Maria Robles Reyes, Guerrero, Mexico. Siblings: Petra Amaro Robles, Santos Amaro Robles, Victorino Amaro Robles, Roberto Robles Reyes, Gloria Legaria Robles and Virginia Amaro Robles, along with seven aunts and uncles and other family members.
