Neva Emery

Neva Emery age 90 of Decorah, IA passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at Wellington Place in Decorah. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the Burr Oak Cemetery with Rev. Peter Kowitz presiding. Neva was born June 11, 1934, on the family farm in Winneshiek County near Bluffton, Iowa, the daughter of George and Clara (Morrison) Emery. She was baptized at the Advent Christian Church in Burr Oak and attended Lost Nation School SW of Burr Oak through the 8th grade. Following school, she worked at Deco Products for many years. Neva enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards with friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Sarah and May Emery, and four brothers: Floyd, Bryce, Vernon, and Melvin Emery.
