Nathan Dawley

Nathan Dawley, age 59, of rural Decorah, IA died on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Burr Oak Lutheran Church, 2358 – 360th Street, Burr Oak, IA, with Rev. O. Paul Haugen presiding. Burial will be in the Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Iowa. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m., on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Burr Oak Lutheran Church, 2358 – 360th Street, Burr Oak, IA, and also after 10:00 a.m., at the church on Friday morning. Nathan is survived by his wife Jacque. Children: Zachery and Lydia Grace. Sisters: Donna (Dave) Reinertson, Nampa, ID; Lona (Ken) Curtis, Nampa, ID; Lois (David) Wermager, Melbourne, IA; LaVonne (Brian) Kocourek, Oregonia, OH. Brother: Tim Dawley, Decorah, IA. Father and mother-in-law: Cleon and LaDonna Brenno, Canton, MN. Sisters-in-law: JoLeeta (Ernest) Recio, Canton, MN; Cheryse Brenno, Rochester, MN; Kelly (Scott) Carpenter, Rochester, MN; Rochelle (Neil) Middendorf, Canton, MN; Tricia (Craig) Henry, Canton, MN. Brothers-in-law: Joel Sloan, Mabel, MN and Keith Curtis, Nampa, ID along with many nieces and nephews. Nathan was preceded in death by his parents: Jesse and Cecelia (Baker) Dawley. Brother: Herbert Dawley. Sister: Cordelia Curtis. Nephews: Daniel and Mathew Reinertson. Niece: Rachel Curtis.
