MI Bok Lee, age 52, Mesa, Arizona, passed away on January 14, 2016. MI’s burial will be held at St. Benedict Cemetery, Decorah, IA, with Rev. Phil Gibbs presiding. MI lived in Decorah in the late 1980’s and worked with her brother Hyong Bok Lee who is the owner of Koreana and Cho Sun restaurants in Decorah. She moved to Arizona in 2009. MI was very artistic and loved writing poetry. Many of her poems were published in Korean publications. She also loved to sing and play instruments. She taught herself how to play guitar, harmonica and the piano. MI was also very athletic and enjoyed watching and playing sports. MI is survived by three Sisters: Yon P. Lee, Eunice Lee Fong and Sookjean Lee. Two Brothers: Hyong Bok Lee and IL Bok Lee. MI was preceded in death by her parents: Bumgu and Lena Lee. One brother: Ho Bok Lee.
