Mary Lorentzen

     Mary Lorentzen, age 96, of Decorah, IA, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Barthell Eastern Star Home in Decorah, Iowa.      Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Avenue, Decorah, IA, with Rev. Melissa Bills presiding. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Decorah, IA.      Friends may call from: 4:00-6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Avenue, Decorah, IA, and also after 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday morning at the funeral home.      Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, 604 West Broadway, Decorah, IA, 52101 or the Barthell Eastern Star Home, 911 Ridgewood Drive, Decorah, IA, 52101.      Mary’s survivors include her son, Lance (Elizabeth) of Decorah, her daughter, Christine Kelly of Bettendorf, Iowa, grandchildren, Neil (Robin) Kelly, Geoffrey (Tamara) Kelly, Joshua (Catherine) Bottorff, Brita Lorentzen, and great-grandchildren, Riley, Charlotte, Sydney, Braedon, and Connor Kelly, and Mia, Jack, and Ethan Bottorff. Her sister, Martha Henderson Winston, four nieces and nine nephews also survive.      Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Sid, her parents, her brother, Joseph, two nephews, and several brothers- and sisters-in-law.
