Marilyn J. Streetman-Falck

Marilyn J. Streetman-Falck passed away peacefully, with Jerry and friends at her side, on Friday, March 3, 2017 at her home in Decorah at age 75. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Decorah with Rev. Phil Gibbs officiating. Burial will be on Thursday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m. at Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, one hour before the service, at the church. Marilyn Jean (Polulach) Streetman-Falck was born November 14, 1941 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Jean (Andrews) Polulach. She attended Richard Edwards Elementary School in Chicago and Riverside Brookfield High School in Riverside, IL, graduating with the class of 1959. Marilyn attended Mount Mary University in Wauwatosa, WI and graduated with the class of 1963 with a B.A. degree in clothing and textiles. She made her career in clothing design in Chicago, as a photographer, stylist, in advertising for Tatham Laird and worked on STP ads for Mario Andretti. She owned an art gallery in Aspen, CO and owned a Jeep rental agency in Aspen also. Marilyn met Jerry Falck in 1983 and they divided their time between Decorah and Lake Geneva, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jean Polulach; and her brother John George Polulach. Marilyn is survived by her husband Jerry Falck of Decorah; one sister, Barbara (Larry) Sovern of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one niece, Lindsey (Matthew) Urbanek of Overland Park, Kansas, and their sons, Gray Declan Urbanek and Sylas John Urbanek; and by one nephew, John Brett Sovern of Clearwater, Florida.
