Ludmila P. Lebedeva, nee Gorbachova, 66, of Belleville, IL, born February 7, 1946, in Stolbischi, Russia, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. Funeral Services will be 10:30 Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Spillville, Iowa with Rev. Donald Hawes presiding. Burial at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Spillville, IA. There will be visitation after 9:30 at the church on Tuesday. She enjoyed attending English as a Second Language classes at Southwestern Illinois College. Ludmila was preceded in death by her mother, Valentina Testoyedova, nee Gorbachova; and one uncle, Alexander Gorbachov. Surviving are her daughter, Irina Polansky of Belleville, IL; a granddaughter, Katrina Polansky; a sister, Tanya Hageman of Decorah, IA; a brother, Stanislav Testoyedov of Kherson, Ukraine; a niece, Elena Phillips of Decorah, IA; and a nephew, Roman Testoyedov of Kherson, Ukraine. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran School, Belleville, IL.
