Lois Ryan age 65, from Decorah, IA passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Aase Haugen Senior Services in Decorah. There will be no formal services for Lois. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be sent to her family at: 301 West Day Spring Rd, Decorah, IA 52101. Lois Mae Ryan was born on January 21, 1956 the daughter of Edward and Evelyn (Balik) Ryan in Harmony, MN. She graduated from North Winneshiek High School. Lois worked various jobs in Decorah, the most recent working for Aase Haugen in housekeeping for the last eleven years. She enjoyed crossword, wordsearch and jigsaw puzzles. She also loved playing cards. She is survived by her siblings: Ruth Kamp, Decorah, IA; Theresa (Rick) Smith, Decorah, IA; Ethel (Donald) Sylling, Spring Grove, MN; Tim (Sharon) Ryan, Lime Springs, IA; Leone (Tom) Ferrie, Cresco, IA; Frank Ryan, Harmony, MN; Robert Ryan, Cresco, IA and Anita Ryan of Decorah. Brother-in-law: Robert Maroushek, Decorah, IA. Nieces and nephews: Chris, Michelle, John, Rodney, Dustin, Eric, Travis, Matt, Rhonda, Dawn, Elizabeth, Curtis, Laura and Amanda. Lois was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Evelyn (Balik) Ryan. Sister: Phyllis Maroushek. Brothers-in-law: Kenneth Kamp and Rick Smith. Nephew: Brent Smith.
