Linda Kalke

Linda Kalke, age 67, of Decorah, IA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 2, 2024. There will be a private family graveside service at Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah. Celebration of life will be held at a later date. Linda was born on November 3, 1956, in Decorah, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Betty (Flack) Lundt. She attended Decorah schools and graduated in 1975. Linda married Lorraine “Henry” Kalke on April 15, 1978, at First Lutheran Church in Decorah. This union was blessed with two daughters: Lisa and Patricia “Trish”. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, shopping, and above all spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Linda is survived by her husband, Lorraine “Henry” Kalke. Daughters: Lisa (Eli) Johnson, Saude, IA and Trish (Kevin) Martin, Waukon, IA. Grandchildren: Ethan, Addison, Brinley, Brooklyn, Alexis, Mason, and one on the way. Siblings: Mark Lundt, Lauren Lundt, Kim Sickles. Sister-in-law: Gloria (Paul) Olson along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Betty Lundt. Siblings: Chris Lundt and Cheryl Grinna. Father and mother-in-law: Edwin and Alice Kalke. Sister-in-law: Linda Kalke. Nephew: Matthew Lundt. Nieces: Chelsea Sickles and Gale Lundt.
