Leila M. Matter

Leila M. Matter, age 98, of Decorah, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Aase Haugen Home in Decorah following a long illness. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 22, 2008 at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Locust, Iowa, rural Decorah, with Rev. Gene Hermeier officiating. Burial will be in Locust Cemetery. Visitation is after 10:00 A.M. Saturday, one hour before services, at the Church. Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two sisters, Edna Gjere and Iona Price of Decorah, Iowa.
