Juan Macario

Juan Macario, age 37, of Ridgeway, IA, died on Sunday, August, 15, 2021 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 20, 2021, at St. Bridget Catholic Church, 141 W. Williams Street in Postville, IA, with Rev. Chris Podhajsky presiding. Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery in Calmar. Visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Ave., in Decorah, IA. Juan was born on May 6th 1984. The Son of Melquides Macario Sanches and Ofelia Choncoa Tetzoyotl in Zongolica Veracruz, Mexico. Juan met his wife Gudelia Tetzoyotl on August 31, 2001. With this union came 5 children; Carlos, Yahir, Alex, Nayeli, and Daisy. On July 19, 2021 Juan and Gudelia married at St. Bridget Church. Juan worked at Humpal Dairy Farm in Ridgeway for almost 16 years. Juan enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a very hard worker and loved being on the farm. His sons have followed in their dad’s footsteps and also work on the farm. Juan is survived by his Wife Gudelia, children; Carlos, Yahir, Alex, Nayeli, and Daisy Macario. His parents are Melquiades Macario and Ofelia Choncoa. Siblings; Mariana Macario (Fransico Gonzalez), Jeronimo Macario (Gris Dominguez), Irving (Natalie) Macario, Constantino Macario (Rosario Ramirez), Claudia Macario (Esteban Talavera), and Andrés Macario. Sister in laws Martha Tetzoyotl (David Achua) Lourdes Teoyotl (Oscar), and Martina Tetzoyotl, also many of his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather. And two sisters who passed in infancy. En esa unión llegaron 5 niños; Carlos, Yahir, Alex, Nayeli, y Daisy. El día 19 de Julio del 2021 Juan y Gudelia se casaron en la iglesia St. Bridget. Juan trabajó en el rancho Humpal Dairy en Ridgeway por casi 16 años. A Juan le encantaba compartir tiempo con su familia. Él era un hombre bien trabajador y le gustaba estar en el rancho. Sus hijos siguen los pasos de su papá y también trabajan en el rancho donde trabajaba su papá. Juan tiene a su esposa Gudelia, hijos; Carlos, Yahir, Alex, Nayeli, y Daisy Macario. Sus padres Melquiades Macario y Ofelia Choncoa. Hermanos; Mariana Macario (Fransico Gonzalez), Jeronimo Macario (Gris Dominguez), Irving (Natalie) Macario, Constantino Macario (Rosario Ramirez), Claudia Macario (Esteban Talavera), y Andrés Macario. Y también vários de sus sobrinos y sobrinas Juan acompaña a sus abuelos maternos y su abuelo paternos, tambien a su dos hermanas que fallecieron en infancia.
