Joyce Ellingson

Joyce Elaine Ellingson, age 71, passed away on Saturday morning, January 9, 2021, in Charles City, Iowa, where she had been a long-term resident of Chautauqua Guest Home. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Clifford T. Ellingson and Eleanor (Iverson) Ellingson, and by her brother-in-law Bruce Battles. Joyce is survived by her sisters and brother: Julie (Ron) Moore of Springfield, VA; Janie (John) Smith of Manassas, VA; Jeff (Kathy) Ellingson of Calmar, IA; and Jean Battles of Decorah, IA. She is also survived by her Aunt Marcy Iverson of Decorah, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins. Joyce will be interred at the Iowa River Cemetery in rural Decorah. A memorial service will be held later in the year.
