Jeff Schmitz, age 23, of Festina, Iowa died on Monday, May 23, 2005 at his farm from a farming accident. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Festina, Iowa with Monsignor Cletus Hawes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday after 8:30 a.m. at the church on Saturday morning. Schluter – Balik Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
