Janice Krambeer, age 75, of Decorah, Iowa passed away Wednesday November 22, 2023, at the WinnMed Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 27, 2023, at Glenwood Lutheran Church, 1197 Old Stage Road, Decorah, IA with Rev. Matthew Rossler presiding. The burial will follow at the Glenwood East cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the service at the church on Monday morning. Janice was born to Carl and Mildred Schroeder of Kansas City, Missouri, June 23, 1948. She graduated from Lawrence Kansas High School. She married Jerry Krambeer on September 30, 1978, in Lawrence, Kansas. After moving to Decorah, she worked for Northeast Iowa Community Action for 30 years. While living in Decorah she joined the Decorah Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a 50+ member and a Grand Representative of Nova Scotia. She loved to sew, crochet, and to watch the birds outside. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerry. Daughter Jerrilynn (Wayne) Specie of Tennessee, Son Wesley (Dana) Krambeer of Cresco, IA. Sister Sandra (Rodger) Niede and Nephew Tim Kochansk of California. Grandchildren: Stephanie, Christian, Errin, Jaden, and Micheal. Great Grandchildren: Anna Rose, Sophia, Jonathan, Lucus, and Elijah. Brother-in-laws: Gordon (Mary) Krambeer of Cedar Rapids, Thomas (Darla) Krambeer of Kansas, Ned and Dennis Krambeer both of Decorah. Sister-in-Law: Nona (Wayne) Stone of Decorah. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Marsha Hughes. Father and Mother-in-law: Lawrence and Olga Krambeer. Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Dick and Dolores Hughes, Homer and Shirley Evert, Lawrence Jr. and Carolyn Krambeer, Ronald and Carol Krambeer, Peggy Krambeer, Margaret Krambeer. Niece Cassie Hughes, and nephews Max Hughes and Brian Krambeer.
