Florine “Dolly” Kuennen, age 80, of Decorah, IA died Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Aase Haugen Nursing Home in Decorah. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 25, 2012 at the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church at 307 West Main St. Decorah, IA with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., Monday, June 25th at the St. Benedict’s Church. Schluter Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is in charge of arrangements. Dolly is survived by her son: Tim (Connie) Kuennen,grandchildren: Alexis and Nolan Kuennen, four brothers: Clem (Leona) Bodensteiner, John (Carolyn) Bodensteiner, Ivan (Pat) Bodensteiner, James (Roberta) Bodensteiner; One sisters: Virginia Schmelzer, Sister-in-law: Elaine (Kuennen) Sloan, Brother-in law: Brad Brockman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Melvin in 1980, her parents, Clem and Florence Bodensteiner, Sister: Arlene Brockman, Brother: Edward (Bernie) Bodensteiner, Brothers-in-law: Jim Sloan and Jim Schmelzer
