Elvira Barr, age 80 of Calmar died Saturday January 29, 2005 at the Aase Haugen home in Decorah after a short illness. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday February 3, 2005 at 11:30 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Calmar by Rev. Donald Hawes burial will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery in Calmar Visitation will be on Wednesday February 2 at the Schluter & Balik Funeral Home French Chapel in Calmar from 3:00 until 8:00 with a rosary at 4:00 and scripture service at 6:00. there will also be visitation at the church after 10:30 on Thursday. Survivors are her Daughter Ann Halweg of Calmar and her Son Patrick of Gastonia, North Carolina
