Eldon Tucker

Eldon Tucker, age 91 of Decorah, IA died on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Good Samaritan Society in West Union, IA. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Keokuk, IA. Eldon Frederick Tucker was born on September 20, 1929, the only child of Truman Lee and Clarisse Ebner in Keokuk, Iowa. Eldon attended and graduated from Keokuk High School in 1947. Eldon united in marriage to Muriel Lloyd on January 4, 1977 in Decorah IA. Eldon and Muriel enjoyed snow skiing, golfing, and international travel. His favorite hobby was taking fishing trips to Canada. Eldon was a successful entrepreneur and was the founder and owner of Hi Pro Foods and was involved in numerous other business ventures during his career. He was a member of Oneota Country Club and Decorah Elks Club. He is survived by his wife: Muriel Tucker, Decorah, IA. Two step-daughters: Michelle Mullins and Stacey (Craig) Anderson both of Decorah. One step-grandson: Avery Brandt, Sheboygan, WI. Eldon was preceded in death by his parents.
