Edmund Leibold

Edmund Leibold, age 90 of Cresco, IA, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at his home in Cresco, IA. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, IA. The Schluter-Balik Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Edmund Arthur Leibold was born on December 8, 1929 the son of Hugo and Adella (Tupy) Leibold in Fort Atkinson, IA. He attended St. John’s Catholic School through eighth grade in Fort Atkinson. Edmund spent most of his life doing farm work for local farmers. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching ball games and going to sales. Edmund is survived by his sister: Helen Becker, Hiawatha, IA. Nieces Teresa(Tom) Wille and son Austin , Denise (Tony) Van Otegham and sons Evan & Wade, Nephew David and son Bryan.. Jane Becker and daughters MacKenzie and Mallory and families Halfsisters Florence(Ernest) Johnson and family, Judy (Dale) Zweibohmer and family, Jeanne (Gregory) Moscoso and family and many cousins & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hugo and Adella (Tupy) Leibold. Step-mother: Margaret (Kupka) Leibold. Brother: Henry Leibold. Brother-in-law: Francis Becker. Nephew and niece Terry Becker and Kathleen Leibold.
