Donna Halverson

Donna Halverson, age 67, of Decorah, IA, died Thursday, February 27, 2014, at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014, at the Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago Street, Decorah, IA, with Rev. Bryan Robertson and Rev. David Sorenson presiding. Burial will be in the Hauge Lutheran Cemetery, rural Decorah in the Spring. Friends may call from 3:00-6:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 2, 2014, at the Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Avenue, in Decorah, IA. Friends may also call after 1:00 p.m., at the church on Monday afternoon. Donna is survived by her four children: Richelle (Mike Voltmer) Halverson, Decorah, IA; Brent (Jill) Halverson, Waukon, IA; Dana (Mark) Carolan, Decorah, IA; and Joel (Cyndi) Halverson, Oklahoma City, OK. Eight grandchildren: Madelyn, Zachary, & Blake Jermier, Leslie & Nathan Halverson, Ava & Gavin Carolan, and Luke Halverson. Two brothers: Dale (Norma) Lundy, Decorah, IA, and Duane Lundy, Des Moines, IA, along with many nieces and nephews. Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Gladys (Olson) Lundy. Two children: Michelle and Bradley in infancy.
