Donald Mihm

Donald Mihm, age 80, of St. Lucas died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the Palmer Lutheran Health Center in West Union, IA, after a long illness with cancer. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 1, 2010, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in St. Lucas, IA, with Father Marvin Salz presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the St. Luke’s Historical Chapel in St. Lucas, IA. There will be a rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a scripture service at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Friends may also call after 9:00 a.m. at the chapel Monday morning. The Schluter – Balik Funeral Home, Chekal Chapel in Fort Atkinson, IA, is in charge of arrangements. Donald’s survivors include his wife: Charlotte Mihm, Ft. Atkinson, IA. One son: Roger (Sally) Mihm, Ft. Atkinson, IA. One daughter: Ruth (Mark) Kuhn, Spillville, IA. Four grandchildren: Angela & Andrew Mihm and April & Rachel Kuhn. Two sisters: Alfreda (Clet) Koshatka, Protivin, IA and Alice Kacher, Fort Atkinson, IA. Two sisters-in-law: Joyce Wolfgram, St. Lucas, IA and Barbra (Jim) Hamilton, Port Aransas, TX. One brother-in-law: Edwin (Mary) Armstrong, Cedar Rapids, IA.
