Dianne Wiltgen, age 80, of Calmar, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at WinnMed Hospital in Decorah, Iowa.

Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at South Winn Golf and Country Club, 3585 175th St., Calmar, Iowa 52132. A private family burial will be held at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the family in memory of Dianne.

Dianne Marie Wiltgen was born August 6, 1946, the daughter of Leonard & Gladys (Frey) Hubka in Cresco, Iowa. Dianne attended Holy Trinity Catholic School and Rudolphinum High School in Protivin, Iowa, graduating in 1964. She graduated from Hamilton Business College in 1966.

She was united in marriage to Garry Wiltgen on June 24, 1967, in Protivin, Iowa. She worked for many businesses in Rochester, MN, Decorah, and Calmar before taking on the office management for Wiltgen Construction for almost 25 years until her retirement in 2014.

She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and a charter member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1967. She is a past member of the South Winn Country Club and the Calmar Commercial Club.

Dianne loved all things music, but especially loved polka and line dancing. She enjoyed traveling whenever she could and was able to visit Hawaii twice, go on multiple cruises in the Caribbean, and her most recent trip to Mexico with the entire family. She liked camping with family, seeing the many campgrounds of NE Iowa, and later in life she looked forward to summers at their cabin in Harpers Ferry, where boating and socializing with family and friends created so many lasting memories. Dianne was a gracious mother and savored the many memories made with her grandchildren, especially attending all of their activities.

Dianne is survived by her three sons: Chad (Kristina) Wiltgen, Calmar, IA, and sons Mason (Jaden) and Carter. Chris (Nicole) Wiltgen, Calmar, IA, and daughter Chloe and son Augie. Casey (Katie) Wiltgen, Calmar, IA, and daughter Maci and son Blake. Two sisters: Linda Schmitt, Calmar, IA, and Jane (Steve) Ellingson, Lawler, IA. Brother-in-law, Gene Wiltgen, and friend Angie Gaul, Onalaska, WI. Nieces and nephews: Lisa Schmitt, Cory Ellingson (Laurie), Sara (Ron) Riehle, Jason (Shelby) Uhlenhake, Josh (Samantha) Uhlenhake, Travis (Xica) Wiltgen, Brittany (Jim) King.

Dianne is preceded in death by her husband, Garry, in February 2015. Her parents, Leonard and Gladys Hubka, and in-laws Richard and Viola Wiltgen. Brothers-in-law Gary Schmitt, Gerald “Augi” Wiltgen, and Jerome Uhlenhake. Sister-in-law Janet Uhlenhake.
