Dean Allan Radtke

Dean Allan Radtke, age 73, of Decorah, Iowa, died Monday, Janaury 15, 2006 at Wellington Place in Decorah. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, January 18, 2006 at Wellington Place by Rev. Wayne Wasta. Friends may call after 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Wellington Place. Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah is in charge of the arrangements. Dean Allen Veblen Radtke was born October 31, 1933, in Calmar, Iowa, the son of Lucius Jerome and Pearl Rose (Goetsch) Radtke. Dean graduated from Roosevelt High School in Des Moines where he lettered in golf. He went on to graduate from the University of Iowa. Dean served in the Air Force for 3 years during the Korean War. He loved to fish and golf. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Lucius, and one sister, Kaye Richcreek. Survivors include his mother, Pearl Goetsch of Decorah and his brother, Derald and his wife Barbara Radtke of Camano Island, WA.
