David "Dave" Lowery

David L. Lowery, age 53, of Decorah, Iowa, died on Thursday, November 17, 2005 at his home following a battle with cancer. A time to greet the family will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2005 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Schluter Balik Funeral Home in Decorah. There will be no other services held. David Lester Lowery was born on February 15, 1952 the son of Horace and Roberta (Telford) Lowery in Decorah, Iowa. David graduated from Decorah High School in 1970. He worked for Larry Sharp Trucking for twenty years, until his health declined two years ago. Dave enjoyed keeping his yard immaculate; watching his son, Bryan play sports and spending his Fridays at Roscoe’s with his son, Cory. Dave’s survivors include his wife, Kris Lowery, Decorah, IA. Two sons: Cory Lowery & friend Jeanne Sebastian, Decorah, IA and Bryan Lowery, Decorah, IA. One sister: Ann Duder & husband George, Decorah, IA. One brother: Mike Lowery & wife Mary, Horicon, WI. His mother-in-law: Cleon Hageman, Calmar, IA; four sisters-in-law: Karen Dallenbach, Decorah, IA; Kathy (Alan) Johnson, Postville, IA; Karla (Don) Steffens, Decorah, IA and Kim (Randy) Tieskoetter, Ossian, IA. And many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
