Daniel Lee Jarosh

Daniel Lee Jarosh, age 53, of Poulan GA., formerly of Spillville, IA, died at his home of a sudden heart attack on Wednesday Oct. 17, 2007. Daniel was born July 21,1954, to Arthur and Cecilia (Kubik) Jarosh of Spillville. He married Karen Beck of Georgia. They were later divorced. Daniel graduated from South Winneshiek High School at Calmar, IA. He served in the Navy aboard the USS John F. Kennedy. After being discharged from the Navy, he settled in Georgia where he worked on a farm and managed the hog farrowing operation. He then worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company where he was currently employed. Daniel also had a tree trimming business. Daniel is survived by his former wife, Karen Beck Kent, of Moultrie, GA. four children. Elijah Jarosh and (Nicole Keeney) of Littleton, CO. Lenka (Chad) Swaggerty of Apopka, Fl. Molly and Caleb Jarosh of Moultrie, GA. His mother Cecilia Jarosh of Spillville, IA, one sister, Patricia Jarosh of Los Angeles, CA., three brothers, Wayne (Barbara) Jarosh of Nevada City, CA, Kenneth (Colleen ) Jarosh of Calmar, lA. and Dean (Sharon Bookwalter) Jarosh of Silver City, NM. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his father Arthur Jarosh. Funeral services were held Monday, October 22, 2007 at Banks Funeral Chapel of Sylvester, GA. with burial at Cool Springs Cemetery in GA.
