Clarence Kruse

Clarence Kruse, age 81, of Decorah, IA died on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at his home of natural causes. Graveside services with Military Rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 31, 2022 at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery in Fort Atkinson, IA. Clarence Kruse was born January 8, 1941, in Ft. Atkinson, IA, to Joseph and Teresa (Makovec) Kruse. Clarence attended school at St John’s Elementary and graduated from the Ft. Atkinson High School. Clarence served in the U. S. Army. After returning home from the military in 1969, Clarence started working for Wapsie Produce where he worked until it’s closing in 2010. Clarence enjoyed gardening, riding his bikes around Decorah, and going to the Hay Market. Clarence’s survivors include his niece: Julie Ellis, Phoenix, AZ. Nephew: Brian Kruse, Ft. Atkinson, IA, and many other extended family. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents. Three brothers: William Kruse, Richard Kruse, and Joseph (Beatrice) Kruse.
