Chelsea Nicole Hart

Chelsea Nicole Hart, age 25, died Friday, June 26, 2009 in an early morning fire in Decorah caused by an electrical problem in her apartment. A memorial service was held Monday, June 29 at 2 P.M. at Phelps Park in Decorah. Chelsea was the beautiful daughter of Dr. Steve and Peggy Hart of Decorah, Iowa. She was a loving sister to Brian Helgens, Josh Hart, Brandon Hart and Carissa Zieske. She was a precious granddaughter to Kenneth and Dixie Hart of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and Lois Harlan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her passion for life never will be forgotten by all who knew her. She will be remembered as a high-spirited personality who touched the lives of a number of people. Chelsea loved her cat Simon very much - and all animals - so the family has decided to give donations in her name to the PAW (People for Animal Welfare) organization to build an animal shelter in Decorah.
