Charlotte Mihm, age 92, of St. Lucas, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Stoney Brook Village, West Union, Iowa.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Saint Luke Catholic Church, St. Lucas, Iowa, with Rev. Tyler Raymond presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Saint Luke Catholic Church. Rosary will begin at 3:30 p.m. before the visitation on Monday. There will be no visitation at the church on Tuesday morning, please come in and be seated.

Charlotte Jane Mihm was born on March 9, 1934 to Joy & Laura-(Thompson) Armstrong in Greeley, IA. She met Donald Mihm at the Oelwein Coliseum and married him on September 22, 1952 at St. Luke's Church, St. Lucas. To this union two children were born; Roger & Ruth Ann.

Don and Charlotte settled on the family farm by St. Lucas where she enjoyed her garden & flowers. Fresh raspberry jello & glazed pickles were two of her favorite recipes.

Charlotte enjoyed trying new things; taking classes in flower arranging, cake decorating, & ceramics. She loved to go dancing, for car rides, and socializing. She was the Avon Lady for many years & a volunteer at the West Union Palmer Lutheran Hospital. A member of the Catholic Foresters (1891 Life) & Catholic Daughters of America.

She is survived by her children: Roger (Sally) Mihm & Ruth (Mark) Kuhn,

her grandchildren: Angie (Karl) Kozak, Andy (Paige) Mihm, April (Andrew) Ransom, Rachel (Stephen) Bender, Five great grandchildren, & her sister Barbara.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donnie-2010, her sister Joyce, her brother Edwin, and all her in-laws. Charlotte went home to be with Our Lord on July 22, 2026.
