Charles Johnson, age 72, of Decorah, IA passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Schluter-Balik Funeral Home, 604 South Ave in Decorah. He is survived by his wife: Diana Johnson, Decorah, IA. Daughter: Andrea Johnson, Decorah, IA. Step-daughter: Stephanie (Tom) Egeland, Estherville, IA. Grandchildren: Brooke, Austin and Nicholas Egeland. Brother: James (Janice) Johnson, Pinon Hills, CA. Charles was preceded in death by his parents: Emmett and Aletha (McKee) Johnson. Father and mother-in-law: Richard and Mabel Cline.
