Cathy Bakke

Cathy L. Bakke, age 66, of Postville and formerly of Decorah, IA, died Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Northgate Care Center in Waukon, IA.   Cathy’s wish was to donate her body to the Mayo Clinic Department of Anatomy for scientific research. There will be no public services. A private family burial will be in Phelps Cemetery in Decorah at a later date.   Cathy is survived by her two daughters and four grandchildren: Jamee (Rafael) Xiya of Postville and their three children Dylan, Joseph, and Gabriella, and Cathy (Lewis) Blair of Decorah and their son Brayden. She was preceded in death by her husband James and her son David.
