Brenden Poole, age 25, of Ossian, IA died on Sunday, May 1, 2022, from injuries sustained in a car accident. Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the Helms Funeral Home-604 South Avenue, Decorah. Brenden Poole was born on July 30, 1996, in Memphis, TN to Angel Poole. He graduated from Waukon High School in 2015. He loved cooking, fishing, spending time with family and friends, working on vehicles, and doing any crazy little thing to make people laugh. Although he liked pushing people’s buttons, Brenden was always there to help anyone in need. He spent many hours riding in the semi with his mom. He worked various jobs throughout his life. His last position was working as a cook and was talking about eventually opening his own restaurant. He always gravitated towards jobs that were hands on. Brenden leaves behind his girlfriend: Lydia Quanrude. Parents Angel Poole and Quai McNeal. Sister: Saydee Poole. Brother: Anthony McNeal. Adopted-sister: Jessica Sharrock. Grandmother: Carol “Diane” Poole. Aunts: Rebecca “Christie” LaFitte, Trisha Lindley, Regina (Mark) Price and Martini (Leonard) Granberry. Cousins: Luke, Tyler, and Jonathon Price, Kayla LaFitte, Joren Lindley, Dylan Frihart, JaTerrious, JaBoris, Madison, Maryah Granberry, and Janice Allen. Great-aunt: Patricia (Emerson) Allen. Nieces: Renezmae Hostrawser, Zoraya and Freyja Poole. Nephews: Sebastian and Mateo Sharrock. Many many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Poole. Grandparents: Bobby “Butch” and Terrie Bonds. Cousins: Justin Grant and Michael Allen. Uncle: Neil Lewis.
