Blanche K. Wyse

Blanche K. Wyse, age 100, died on Monday, April 14, 2014 in the Barthell O.E.S. Home in Decorah. She was born in Wayland, Iowa to Omar D. and Lucy Slagel Boshart.She married Clarence C. Wyse in 1939. They lived most of their married lives in Wayland along with periods in Biloxi, MS, Westwood, IA and Green Valley, AZ.She is survived by her children: Lucy Broadston of Iowa City, IA, Martha Yoder and Mary Knocke of Portland, OR, Amy Robinson of Hartford, CT and Chris Wyse of Decorah; twelve grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her brother, Gerald Boshart, as well as many cousins and friends. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
