Betty Lundt

Betty Ilene (Flack) Lundt died Monday, April 9, 2018 at Winneshiek Medical Center in Decorah, Iowa at the age of 90.  A private family graveside service will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah at a later date. Betty was born on October 2, 1927 in Postville, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Mary (Bray) Flack. Betty married Harold Lundt on June 14, 1944. This union was blessed with six children: Cheryl, Mark, Linda, Kim, Chris and Lauren.     Betty did daycare out of her house for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harold on August 4, 1980; her son Chris in 1977; her daughter Cheryl Grinna in 2015; grandchildren Chelsea Sickles, Matthew Lundt and Gale Lundt; one brother, Leslie Flack; and three sisters: Vivian Jones, Charlotte Newman and Joyce Reincke. Betty is survived by four children: Mark Lundt of Decorah, Linda Kalke of Decorah, Kim  Sickles of Waukon, IA and Lauren Lundt of Decorah; 10 grandchildren: Scott (Amy) Grinna, Stacey (Collin) McElree, Steven (Lisa) Grinna, Trish (Kevin) Martin, Lisa (Eli) Johnson, Dustin Sickles, Daniel Sickles, Alex Sickles, Jessica Lundt and Grace Lundt; and 17 great grandchildren.
