Anthony R. Snow

Anthony Snow, age 38, of Calmar, Iowa, died Thursday, September 27, 2007, at his home. Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2007, at the Calmar Lutheran Church in Calmar, by Rev. Norm Bauer. Friends may call after 2:00 p.m. on Friday at the church. Anthony Rana Snow was born on December 18, 1968, the son of Milton Bowers and Mary Ann Snow in Decatur, Georgia. Anthony graduated from Decatur High School in 1987. He also graduated from the Culinary of Arts School in Atlanta, Georgia. He worked in home construction in Atlanta and in Cummings, Georgia. He moved to Iowa in 2003, working construction for Zimmerman Builders in Monticello, Iowa. He married Jamie Gossman on June 3, 2006, in Decorah, Iowa. Anthony enjoyed fishing, golfing, dancing, flowers and best of all, making people smile. Anthony’s survivors include his wife, Jamie Gossman Snow, Calmar, IA. Two sons: Samuel and Andrew Snow, Bay City, MI. One step-son: Dominic Mueller. His mother: Mary Ann McCoy and her husband LeRoy, Atlanta, GA. One brother: Jerome Snow, Atlanta, GA. Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. His father and mother-in-law: Robin and Kim Gossman, Decorah, IA. One sister-in-law: Jennifer Gossman, LaCrosse, WI. One brother-in-law: Joshua (Veronica Remick) Gossman, Decorah, IA. Three nieces and one nephew: Taylor, Alexis, Tristin and Haley. Jamie’s grandparents: Wayne and Vivienne Gossman, Decorah, IA and Arla Kubik, Decorah, IA. Anthony was preceded in death by his father: Milton Bowers. His beloved Grandmother Louise Couch and one step-brother: Jason.
