     Alexandra “Allie” Loden, age 26, of Decorah died Sunday, October 11, 2015 near Decorah in an automobile accident.      Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at the Decorah Lutheran Church, 309 Winnebago St., Decorah IA. Burial will be in the Russell Cemetery rural Decorah.      Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Schluter Balik Funeral Home in Decorah, IA, and also after 10:00 a.m. at the Church on Thursday.         Alexandra Morgan “Allie” Loden was born on June 6, 1989 in Mason City, IA. Allie attended and graduated from Decorah High School in 2007. She attended Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, graduating in 2013 as a Registered Nurse. Allie worked at Wellington Place Nursing Home in Decorah and most recently at Iowa Rotocast, also in Decorah. Allie enjoyed going to the river with her son, Josh and her friends, attending car races, playing pool, listening to music, going to concernts and spending time with her family and friends. Allie was a member of the Decorah Lutheran Church.      Allie is survived by her son: Joshua Sande, Decorah, IA. Her parents: Chip and Peggy Piper, Decorah, IA, and Mark (Mary) Loden, Forest City, IA. One brother: Nick Frana, Fort Carson, Colorado Springs, CO. One sister: Emily (Nathan) Ploeger, Forest City, IA. Grandparents: Mary Marti, Decorah, IA; Delbert and Dorothy Witt, Mason City, IA; Shirley Loden, Cresco, IA; and LaVonne Jones, Mason City, IA. Four step-siblings: Erin Piper, Ossian, IA; Ryan Piper, Decorah, IA; Beth (Matt) Irwin, Skokie, IL, and Brian (Laurie) Walker, Republic, MO. Joshua’s dad, Harlan Sande, Decorah, IA. Harlan’s parents: Howard and Lorna Sande, Decorah, IA, along with their family. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.      Allie was preceded in death by her three grandfathers: Paul Marti, Austin Loden and Roland Jones, along with many great grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
