Alan “Bruno” Hageman, age 52, of Decorah, IA, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2020, outside of Decorah, IA from the results of an automobile accident. Visitation for Alan will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Calmar Lutheran Church, 200 East Street, Calmar, IA followed by a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Daryl Thompson presiding. Bruno was born June 7, 1968 to Dale and Cheryl Hageman. Bruno and his wife were married November 12, 2005. Bruno enjoyed doing various types of construction and heavy equipment operation. He loved spending time with his family. He also loved having horses. He enjoyed spending his time on his Uncle's farm. Bruno always had a smile and was always eager to lend a helping hand. Alan is survived by his wife: Jody Hageman, Decorah, IA. Mother: Cheryl Hageman, Calmar, IA, Mother and Father in Law: Tom (Cheryl) Norton, Virginia, MN. Stepchildren: Cory, Pomeroy, IA, Shaina, Waterloo, IA, Garrett and Dalton, Fargo, ND. Step-grandchildren: Rhyker, Carter, Kohner, and Landon. Brother: Marty (Amy) Hageman Ft. Atkinson, IA. Sister: Myra (Rick) Schnuelle, Castalia, IA along with nieces and nephews: Kayla Schnuelle, Kelsey (Ethan) Imoehl, Kolin Schnuelle, Kayden Schnuelle, Adrian Hageman. Great nieces: Danielle and Briar Imoehl. He was preceded in death by his dad: Dale Hageman. Brother in Law: Craig Norton Uncles: Kenneth Hageman and Ronald Numedahl. Aunt: Karen Skrypek.
